Top 5 News and Magazines Android Apps in Estonia Q2 2024

In the second quarter of 2024, the top News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Estonia showed varying trends in weekly downloads, with some apps experiencing notable peaks. Here’s a closer look at their performance.

Postimees from Eesti Meedia AS had a fluctuating download trend. Weekly downloads started at 128 in early April and saw a slight dip, with a low of 67 in late April. However, the app recovered with a peak of 136 downloads in the week of May 27, before stabilizing around 84-92 downloads towards the end of June.

ERR by Eesti Rahvusringhääling demonstrated a more consistent pattern. The app's weekly downloads ranged between 63 and 135, with notable increases in the weeks of May 6 (123 downloads) and June 17 (133 downloads), peaking at 135 downloads in the last week of June.

Delfi.ee from AS Delfi showed a stable download rate throughout the quarter. Starting at 83 downloads in early April, it reached its highest point of 96 downloads in mid-June, maintaining a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 50 and 94 for most of the quarter.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar, although not a local app, also had a presence in Estonia. Weekly downloads were relatively low but showed growth over the quarter, starting at 32 downloads in early April and peaking at 54 downloads in the last week of June.

ETV by Eesti Rahvusringhääling had a varied download trend with a significant spike. Weekly downloads were minimal at the beginning of the quarter but saw a sharp increase to 138 in the week of May 6. The app continued to perform well, with another peak of 114 downloads in mid-June and ending the quarter at 95 downloads.
